Acer GN246HL

I have tried to look into the monitor, I have noticed that the monitor comes with 2 pairs of 3D glasses. Is the monitor NVIDIA 3D Vision, NVIDIA 3D Vison 2 or something different? Also, do the 3D glasses need a 3D IR Emitter, if so is it built in, does it come with one or do I need to purchase one separately?

Thanks.

Went ahead to purchase the monitor, you need to purchase NVIDIA 3D Vision Glasses Kit seperately, the monitor doesn't come with any (even though PCWorld says it does..).

The Acer 3D monitor you have purchased supports NVIDIA 3D Vision technologyto deliver a fully immersive stereoscopic 3D experience.
The user guide has information on using the glasses, Setting up 3D Vision User Manual

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply.

Will the 3D work out of the box? or do I need to purchase something else for it to work properly? such as NVIDIA 3D Vision Kit? I am asking this because the monitor comes with two pairs of 3D glasses.

    Thanks again.
