Did a reformat using the system tools like I've done in the past and everything was fine. After I updated and rebooted win 8 crashed and did the recovery rollback boot loop for hours.

When I start now I get the blue screen with "your pc need to be repaired" message. Can do the alt f10 trick to get into troubleshooting but get "unable to reset pc. Required drive partition missing".

Get various other errors for everything else I try from there. Can get to the command prompt but the safe mode command didn't work either.

Bought it new and it came with no recovery disks. Not sure if this is something I can fix or if i should just but the recovery disk asap add this is my work pc and it's my only one.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thread closed, issue sorted out - cleared itself up after 3 hours of running the loop after running a rew repair commands from the command prompt.
