Iconia W3 810 (Windows 8.1) - Screen Calibration

Afternoon,

I was calibrating my screen and after it finished, now where I point on the screen it does not recognize the location. Seems it thinks I'm anywhere else on the screen except where I want to be. I can't get back to re-calibrate because I can't get to log back in to the tablet due to this issue. Anyone know of a way to reset this?

Thanks!

    Hi Wilson,

I will start with the obvious,

Do you have any accessories to use instead of screen?

Nothing other than the micro HDMI.

Sorry it is not that simple but here is my suggestion, get a micro USB adapter for a mouse. The W3 should identify and allow you to use it.

This tab has so much more than a phone. If you want to use it more as a full computer, it can do it. But it does require an investment of accessories. Not expensive though!

    most wanted list

    1. micro USB adapter allows for many, many device plug ins.

    2. blue tooth keyboard/mouse pad

    3. self powered USB HUB

    4. USB DVD player

search W3 here and you will find Padgett and others have put up a list of accessories they liked.

Screen calibration doesn't seem to work well.  I have played with it a few times and fortunately didn't get caught in your situation but did revert back to the original calibration because the new ones were not even close.

A mouse and keyboard are definitely great add ons to this tablet or the W4.
