Hi,

Internal web-cam doesn't work properly, after upgrading from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1.
It's detected by system but when I run ooVoo or Skype I can't see any image, but...
From time to time it's taking some photos and that's all, no video streaming.

Driver shown in Devices Manager is Microsoft 6.2.9200.16384 from 2006-06-21.
I can't find any newer driver, tired to reinstall it but didn't change anything.
There is no drivers for web-cam on Acer website.

Any suggestions except of going back to windows 8?

You can try redownloading the Acer Camera application through the Windows store. Test the camera with that application, and that will let you know if the hardware is working. If it is working with the Camera App, you may try checking with Skype or ooVoo to see if they have suggestions for troubleshooting their software with 8.1.
