W700 i5 wireless certificate not working

I am trying to connect my tablet to my corporate network but it will not accept the certificate for connection.  I have a windows 8 laptop from HP that is connecting without any issues and the acer tablet connects to the corporate guest network without issue.  I have used all the same settings from the windows 8 laptop, going as far as sitting both units side by side and comparing every screen in the wireless configuration for the network but with no luck on the tablet.

I have connected to my dlink router at home, the guest network uses the same cisco network hardware to connect as the corporate network, and just about every store\restaurant I have gone to that has wireless connected on the first try.

I have tried downgrading the driver to 2 previous versions of the driver but has had no effect.

Is there an issue with the certificate based authentication with the built in wireless card?  Has anyone else experienced using a certificate based wireless authentication that worked?

Installed the new driver on the download page and now my network works like it should.  No issues connecting to the certificate based network and on top of that all the 5 second pauses when the network connected are gone.  Over all this driver update has fixed all my network problems.

    Driver version 10.0.0.225

(Also have an HP loaner model from HP that isn't on the market yet that had the same issue, appears to be a qualcomm problem not an Acer\HP problem.  Updating the qualcomm driver on the HP fixed the same issues I had with it.)

Would just like to add all the certificates are pre-loaded using a USB key on the tablet using certificates that work everywhere else.

Update : attached a netgear usb wireless network card to the unit, works like a charm.  Would like to not have to attach a usb device though.  Any word on this Acer?  Seems like something that a first level support guy wouldn't even understand let alone be able to help with so I haven't called the support line yet.

Dont expect a much better explanation here, at least until one of them goes to find some1 who actually knows something or some1 who actually finds the time to go research lol

I started a thread for this exact issue, and I cannot for the life of me figure it out. I literally went through the EXACT steps you did, and ultimately settled on a USB wifi dongle, which is ridiculous. Here's my thread:

Mine connects to guest network just fine, but not the WPA2 enterprise network. I wonder if we work at the same place? Smiley Happy
