Latest Change to UEFI Makes Changing UEFI Impossable

The below Clip shows how UEIF could be changed in previous releases. Recent computers are set up to fail if one follows these instructions. In the final step the clip shows "Restarting" the computed presents the operator the familar BIOS screen but,  Not any more. The new 'Totally Locked' release would be great for enterprise deployed computers because they prevent intrusion by anyone even if they have the computer's password. Perhaps the only way to reach the BIOS screen now is to open the bax and disconnect the hard drive, maybe then the BIOS could be reached, then changed to allow booting from a DVD or USB drive. then reinstal the hard drive. If there is another way please publish it.

That is how to access the BIOS/UEFI from Windows using the Windows 8 advanced boot menu. The option to press F2/Delete (notebook/desktop) still exisits to enter the UEFI from a cold boot. However, if your BIOS/UEFI has a password then of course you would need that password to gain access.
