Hello Acer,

I bought an Aspire V3-571G-736b8G1TMaii. It have a very good performance and this implies I have an Intel Core i7-3630QM with Intel VT-x technology. I cannot use it because the Acer is disabled it by default and I cannot change that setting in the BIOS... I did not choose this system by accident! I would like to use that feature what I paid for.

I spent a lot of time today to solve this problem - during my working hours - but there are not any official solution on the official site. (Or maybe I could not found it.) I just found some risky hacks on the internet.

So please explain how can I enable this feature or explain why I cannot use that! Where can I find a description about this machine where somebody wrote about the disabled features?!

Sorry for my English and thank you in advance!
An Acer user.

After a lot of time I found a very simple solution... It was my fault, partially. I have Windows 8 and I wanted to use VirtualBox.

I checked the virtualization status with Intel® Processor Identification Utility. It says every time, the VT-x is disabled and my VirtualBox drop an issue too. However I checked the Windows Process Explorer, that shows me that the virtualization is enabled. I was confused. And the solution is very simple.

So, if anybody have same issue; Disable the Hyper-V Service in the windows. That solves the problem.
