Somehow my original Windows 7 OS has been corrupted and I need to get it re-installed. Can anyone show me how to do it?

You can try the following two options to reinstall Windows 7 in your system.
(Note: We recommend you to backup all your important data on all the drives before starting with the reinstallation process.)
    A. Using "Recovery" in Control Panel
You can try reinstalling Windows 7 using "Recovery" option in Control Panel, under Advanced recovery methods. Using this method, the Windows will get reinstalled either from your original Windows 7 installation files or from a recovery image provided by your computer manufacturer. Note that you need to manually restore the backed up data and also need to reinstall all of the programs that you might need.
To know more about Advanced recovery methods, refer to this link:

    B. Using original Windows 7 installation disc or a USB flash drive:
To know how to reinstall Windows 7 using your original Windows 7 installation disc or a USB flash drive, refer to "Using the Custom installation option and formatting the hard disk" section on the following link:
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-in/windows/installing-reinstalling-windows#1TC=windows-7

    This should resolve your issue
