Aspire One 522 - have replaced screen, will not power up

Hi - hoping for a bit of help here. I have replaced the screen on my aspire One 522. When switching on, the blue light on the power button, plus the blue led lights come on for about 3 seconds then go off. I have tried removing the battery then holding down the power switch for a while but no joy.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks

    Hi...

It seems to be a hardware issue.

If you have replaced the screen with Acer (by sending the laptop to Acer repair center), you can contact Acer support team, they will help you with it.

In case you repalced the screen locally, you need to contact the same place, so that they will fix it.

Thanks for the reply vvprad, I have retried with the original screen (which partly worked) and get the same problem, as I do when I switch on the netbook with no screen at all.
As I have already paid out for the screen I would like some idea what the issue might be so I don't get fleeced if I take the netbook to a local repairer. I sourced the screen online from an established supplier.
    Thanks
