Restore issue on the Aspire 5250-BZ669

Hello all. I was trying to do a system restore back to factory settings. I did the one where my data on my c: drive would be backed up. When it comes to start the installation, I get this message: "Windows installation cannot proceed. To install windows, click OK to restart the computer and restart the installation" I have done that multiple times and even started the whole process over again. Has anyone had this problem? Thanks for the help,

    I did get that far, but I chose to retain data. I did not do the complete format. I wanted to get some pics off my HDD, but now it wont boot up. Sounds like I need to get a recovery cd. Is there any other way to get it?

    Hello,

     

    The only way, it's to order the eRecovery media DVDs on Customer Service:

     

    1. Go to Acer worlwide , choice your country and click on Support tab
    2. Type Recovery using CDs or DVDs on the Search using keywords box 
    3. Click on the link Customer Service
    4. To send an e-mail click on Customer Care
    5. Select your laptop model and you'll see this page Ask a Question
