Does Acer have a service manual in addition to it's user manual?

Some of the specs are a little unclear to me.  This PC uses 3.5" internal SATA hard  drives?

Rikkk, Acer does not publicize service guides.

Looking at the unit, there is a HDD bay with up to 2 individual bay carriers. Those are fitted for 3.5" HDD (standard desktop size) but screwhole placements are available to secure 2.5" (SSD & Notebook HDDs) within those carriers. I've included a picture. The red area is just to point out where the HDD bay is.

    Hope this helps.

The maiboard has four SATA 6Gb/s connectors and one SATA 3Gb/s connector.

"Is the hard drive in this computer 3gb/s or 6gb/s" ? Is the hard drive in this computer 3gb/s or 6gb/s? I haven't gotten that far yet. This thing is being returned to Acer for "won't boot" a second time. It is around six weeks old. First time they replaced the hard drive. Now what? Excuse my whining. If or when it is permenantly fixed I can start thinking about what disk I need. Richard
