A500 Power cord falls out

I have an Acer Iconia A500 which I purchased new.  It works fine except that I can no longer recharge it because the power cord no longer stays in the socket.  For a while I was able to kind of hold it in place while it was recharging but now it no longer makes any kind of contact inside.  It is of course out of warranty by now.  I would like to return it for service but can't find any way to do this on this website.  I need this machine badly as I am unable to do stairs to get to my pc and this tablet has been just the ticket.

I keep thinking that it should be a quick fix.  Anyone know how I could fix it myself otherwise how to return?

Thanks for your help.

Normally the AC socket is soldered directly to the PCB inside the tablet, often the solder can break away and the joint needs to be re soldered, depending on your level of knowledge it's best left to someone who knows what they are doing.
