Any suggestions how I can get this to work. I have a Logitech V470 abd M557 Bluetooth mice and cannot get either to connect.

I have been going around in circles for almost 4 weeks now so please help.

    hi...

You need to check in device manager and find the bluetooth device manufacturer. It could be Atheros, Broadcom or Intel
To check the network adapter please follow the below steps.
Press and hold the Window logo key and tap X on your keyboard to open device manager.
Click Bluetooth to expand the section.
The Bluetooth device name would be listed.

There are new drivers released for windows 8.1 at Acer support website.

You may enter the model number or directly go to Bluetooth driver for windows 8.1
    Group > Ultra-thin, Series > Aspire , Products > TravelMate P455-MG
Select the operating system from the drop down menu, then select All
Check the release date and download the latest Bluetooth and install it.

This issue could occur due to driver incompatibility of the Bluetooth device or the Bluetooth driver installed on the laptop.
I would suggest you to download the latest available Bluetooth driver and then install it in Windows 8 Compatibility mode.
Refer to these links for Logitech 470 mouse driver : Bluetooth mouse driver

Follow the steps to install driver in Windows 8 Compatibility mode
Note: Make sure that you have the setup file for latest version of the Bluetooth driver before following the steps.
Press Windows and X key together and select Device Manager.
Locate the Bluetooth radios and expand the driver icon.
Right Click on the driver icon and select Uninstall.
Follow the onscreen instruction to uninstall the driver.
Locate the folder which contains the setup file for the latest Bluetooth driver that you have downloaded.
Right Click on the setup file and select Properties.
Go to compatibility tab and choose “Windows 8” from the drop down menu under “Run this program in compatibility mode for” section.
Click on Apply and then on OK.

    Hi Sharanji,

Thank you for your reply. I will give it a try and let you know as soon as I have.

Our IT guy is on leave until next week so might wait for him as it is a work computer and if I do happen to mess anything up, will not be popular.
