I ran across the following article in the "Answers" section and responded to it. This seems a good place for it to be discussed , so I decided to copy it here.

Question

Where can I find a User's Guide for my Acer Product?

Answer

Acer provides an electronic copy on the system for you to view, and User's Guides are also posted online for downloading and printing. While Acer does not provide a printed coy of your User's Guide, you can use the link below to locate the User's Guide for your system.

Just got my new Acer DeskTop computer a couple days ago. I'm still getting familiar with it. I went to look for a user guide or manual, but had not found it. Had not found the "search" function either. These were a couple of the reasons that I joined this forum. Which I found by Google searching issues which a manual would probably (hopefully) deal with. So now that I have completed joinning this forum, one of the 1st things I see is this thread. Cool! So I read the comment. followed the instructions to open the "User_Manual.pdf". I found that I had to download Adobe Reader to read the file. Thanks Acer for providing a user manual file in the computer which is not self-evident and requires a 3rd party software to be downloaded to the machine to read it. HMMMM.... So Once I open it...I find it has only 2 pages which are both regarding "CONNECTING TO THE INTERNET". There is no more to the file. I could not have found it nor read it without having already connecting to the internet.

Now what Acer?

I'm trying out some comon forum bb code in this post. I don't know if it will work, this is a test of that functionality as well as a discussion of the basic subject. Preview gets me a message that invalid html cade has been removed I'm going to surmise that is from the post by the Acer personnel OP of the article.
