I decided to update all of my drivers and among them was the bios update.  I downloaded and ran BIOS_Acer_2.28_Windows.zip.  I had previously had a supervisor password on the bios as an added layer of security.  Since running the bios update, the password is not the same.  The bios also reset settings so that instead of using legacy bios, it is operating under UEFI.  Now windows 7 doesn't work.  I can't boot to CD's or USB's.   Is it possible to fix this without sending it to Acer for work?  Am I over the barrel on this or is this something a skilled technician can do on their own?
