Dear Acer,

I'm from Croatia and recently I bought laptop from you, it's about Acer V3-551G.

Since I can on any way contact you I will hear in hope that someone clever will respond to my question and help me!
Only after 4 month of use it stopped working. I leaves at your service in laptop bag. First of all the bag came all in dirt all rough so I need to buy new one. On the paper that I get with my repaired laptop I didn't get any description of what was wrong with my laptop at all, I thing that I haw right to know what was wrong with my laptop and what did you replaced.

My opinion is that you replaced MBO and HDD since the serial number in BIOS and on the back of my laptop doesn't mach!

Another thing is that I can't update my BIOS version from 1.x 2.14. Which reason is that?

And in BIOS section on driver page is patch for WD HDD which I have by device manager which by you increases speed is unusable. I can't install it.

And why this BIOS updates doesn't have any notes which improvements will bring?!

I tried contact you via you web page and there is no way, allay redirect me to another page and when I want to star Chat with agent after registration I need to enter my serial number. It always end with message like this: "The serial number you have entered, does not appear to be valid. Please check the serial number, and try again." I triple checked my serial in BIOS and on back of my laptop. Your Facebook page is only for promoting your average products and there is no way to contact you trough, your community app doesn't work with me.

I hope that I will get some responce since this is last time that I will buy another product from you! Your support and service is the worse that I haw ever experienced!

I'm sorry to hear that your experience with Acer hasn't been what you want or need. I would strongly suggest that you contact your local support team, you can visit www.acer.com select your country, select support and then contact us to find that informaiton. They should be able to provide additional details regarding your repair.

As far as the BIOS update, version 1.X is a standard BIOS, version 2.X would be a UEFI version, and those aren't interchangable. Some suggestions from our idea's platform (on the community homepage) have brought changes to our BIOS/UEFI updates and begining this year we have started including major change/features with our newly released versions. I understand this may not help you immediately, but we are working to improve this experience.
