V-571 Notebook

My Aspire V-571 was working fine.  Went to turn on and the Blue screen came up and said a problem had occurred and needed to be shutdown,  came back up to the splash screen and the same blue screen came up again.  Now it's saying no boot device found.  I've checked the Bios, and no HDD is listed.

It's out of warranty, I purchased Win 8.1, and tried to re-install, it looked like everything was going good, Win 8.1 copied files, installed, then wanted to connect to the Internet using the through Wi-Fi, by the time I entered the pass-key for the modem, it rebooted and the same thing came up.

No boot device, it doesn't even want to boot to the Win 8.1 CD now.

    hi....

You may perfrom a power reset.
Then reset BIOS to defaut settings.

    To perform a power reset:
Unplug the AC adapter from your notebook.
Turn the notebook over to remove the battery. Turn the notebook back over and open it.
Hold down the power button for 30 seconds, then release the power button.
Turn the notebook back over and slide the battery back into place.
Slide the lock tab back into the lock position.
Turn over the notebook one last time and plug in your AC adapter.
    Turn on your notebook.

To reset BIOS to default settings :
You need to tap the F2 key as soon as you restart the computer.
After getting the BIOS screen, press the F9 key and then select "Yes" to load default and save the configuration.
Then press the F10 key and select "Yes" to save the changes in BIOS.
    The computer would restart automatically.
If the computer does not boot , then enter BIOS again and  check if hard disk name is displayed next to HDD model name in information tab.
