After researching further, I found information that these are USB HUB ports. In order for them to be active, you would need to first connect the monitor to the computer, using the USB to USB B cable that is provided. Once that cable is connected, the regular USB ports on the monitor should be active. They require the connection to the PC to draw power for the devices. I hope this is helpful.

If you look at the port, do you see any physical damage? It may be a hardware problem that requires repair. I would suggest contacting technical support in your region for further assistance with this issue.

    Thanks for your reply.

    No physical damage evident.

There are 2 USB ports on each screen, and we have several of those screens in our office. Non of the USB ports work so i assume it's just something we have not done correctly with set-up or connection, rather than a one-off fault?

What kind of USB device are you attaching to the monitor? If you attach a standard device that charges with USB, does it indicate it is sending power to charge the device?

No, it doesn't indicate it is sending power to charge the device.

Have tried attaching wired keyboard, MP3 player, USB memory stick, etc.
