My hard drive crashed on my Acer Veriton computer. I replaced it . and installed the system using the Recovery discs that came with the computer. When the installation successfully completed the computer was put into a HIBERNATE state. When I tried to "awake" it by rebooting it gets to the signup screen mometarily and before I can "click it" it goes into HIBERNATION> How can I stop the computer from going into HIBERNATION ?    I tried reinstalling but with the same results. Since the PC is out of warranty and cannot afford paying a fee for I am 93- retired and broke.   HELP !!!!!.

    Hi afiski

Try starting up in Safe Mode to see if the hibernation problem is reproduced.

If it works OK, check Device Manager to see that all drivers are installed and up to date.

It may be possible that the recovery went wrong, and another reinstall could solve the problem. If the issue is still present, then it may point to an issue with the power supply unit or the motherboard.
