on friday i shut down my laptop when i left work and when i tried to boot at home, it simply said "no bootable device found" and i am puzzled, because when i put the hard drive in an external enclosure, it appears and works well. i don't know what i'm supposed to do because i have a lot of data on that hard drive

    Hello thabsolez,

You have InsydeH20 Setup Utility (bios).

    1. Press F2 to enter in the bios setup utility when you see Acer screen
    2. Check in Information tab you see the HDD (model, serial number)
    3. Chech in Boot tab you have in first position the HDD
    4. Press F9 Setup Defaults
    5. Press F10 Save and Exit - Reply YES
    6. Your laptop restart automatically

    Hello,

You're able to clean the sata connector on motherboard with:

    -- Out voltage --

    1. Spray duster - Air duster
    2. Contact cleaner spray (buy in electronic shop)
