insufficient space to run e-recovery

I have a Aspire 5253 with windows 7, when I turn lap top on I get non bootable disk error.  ALT F10 option to run e-recovery does not work.  I purchased the e-recovery disk set from Acer.  Running the system disk every thing goes fine.  I insert disk 1 of 3, and get a notice: There is insufficient space on the disk for the temporary files required for this operation"

Is there any thing I can do or a fix for this?  So I can complete the e-recovery.

Thanks

    Hi rioher

It sounds as if your hard drive is failing - which can explain the problems you're having trying to intall Windows.

I'd suggest to buy a replacement hard drive, fit it and reinstall Windows from your eRecovery disk.
