With unique selling points like a 15.6 inch screen, the Ezel hinge AND a N-trig active pen, the refreshed R7 has become very relevant as an artist's tool.
However, I thought it will be better if there's a thread that caters specifically for artists thinking of using the R7, since we tend to look for things that normal users do not care about. I will be uploading a few videos that pertains more to the use of the notebook as a equipment for art software, and some thoughts of my own.
Collection of info and tweaks for the R7-572/R7-572G:

2. R7-572 / N-Trig digitizer main problems visualised
The N-Trig digitizer that Acer went with is a pretty good alternative to Wacom these days. That said, there are still issues that prevent it from reaching the level of quality Wacom is known for. If I were to single out one feature that N-Trig still lags behind Wacom big time, it's the jitters when drawing / tracing slowly.

3. N-Trig issue with fluorescent lamps:
"I bought a Sony Stylus and when the laptop is connected to the power supply it only work on the upper part of the screen, if I disconnect the laptop from the battery and put the screen down in tablet configuration then it works perfectly. If I put the screen on laptop position starts to fail in the lower part even on battery only. I need to replace the laptop or is "normal"."
"The only time I have gotten erratic behavior like you describe is when my R7 is plugged in to the same plug as a desk lamp that has a Fluorescent bulb."

7. R7-572 / Acer / Sony / N-Trig digitizer styli visualised
The Acer stylus needs to be longer, seriously. And my hands are definitely not large.

8. Using R7-572G in different configurations and accessories
I've been playing with the machine, and realised that with a couple of accessories, one can improve the usefulness of the different configurations.
