ATC-605 UB11 Does not recognize the PCI-e Video Card

I just purchased the ATC-605, and GT610 videocard today, as my last computer just died.  My problem is that the MB/BIOS is not detecting the video card, so nothing is displayed on the monitor.  I tried to update the BIOS via the download section at acer.com; no good.  I've noticed that I am not the only user who has run into this problem.  I tried to disable the Secure Boot function in BIOS, but it still isn't working.  I have another video card that I tried as well to make sure I didn't have a dud from the factory; no good.  The power requirement for the VC is only 300w, so I know that's not the problem.has anyone discovered a solution?  I am about to return this tomorrow, and go with a different product.  IMO, this is completely unacceptable.

I am sorry to hear you are having this problem but I did look into this and found information about the GT610 not having UEFI support. So I would assume the tower works properly and it is just a compatibility issue with the graphics card and the UEFI interface.

This is not an Acer issue so you are likely to find you have the exact same problem with an alternative PC if it uses UEFI.
In order to overcome the problem when using a non compliant card is to disable UEFI.
