My sons iconia b1 screen looks like a negative picture. How do I fix?

everything displays like a negative picture. Is there a way to fix this? It is very hard on the eyes and nothing is colored properly. Any help would be appreciated.

When you go to Go to Settings > Accessability, do you have the option to  uncheck negative colours ? If not, this may be a hardware issue in that the screen ribbon inside the tablet may have come partially adrift, not sure if your tablet is still under warranty, if not you could maybe gently open the tablet up and check the connections. Have you attempted a soft reset whilst the tablet is still powered up, or, you could try a hard reset which would unfortunately wipe the device and return it to new condition, a last resort if all else fails.
