The Amd A4 1250 cpu thats currently in my laptop is too slow, only going at 1 GHz, and want to upgrade it to a better, faster model. Is that possible?

I heard that in come computers the CPU is soldered to the motherboard and i was wondering if it that is true with this computer?

    Possible? Probably.

    Practical? Probably NOT.

    Hello,

Herewith the part numbers of motherboards (Aspire V5-122P):

    NB.M8W11.001MAIN BD.UMA.A6-1450.4GB
    NB.M8W11.003MAIN BD.UMA.A4-1250.4GB
    NB.M8W11.004MAIN BD.UMA.A6
    NB.M8W11.005MAIN BD.UMA.A4-1250

You can see they are equipped of cpu. So I suppose the cpu are soldered.

Furthermore, there is no part number for cpu.
