Hello guys

I have removed 500GB HDD and 24GB SSD

I have purchased Plextor M5M 256GB

I don't know the answer to be honest with you. I would think it's possible, but there could be issues with different controllers that I'm not aware of.

I would argue that it's not worth doing even if you know it could be done. Below is a post to Toms Hardware asking the same question, and one posts shares a chart showing a less than 2.8% improvement by raiding 2 256GB SSDs vs using just 1 512GB SSD. To me putting both drives at risk if one fails, especially considering SSD still has some read/write cycle limitations, it just wouldn't be worth it form me to get that minimal boost.

It's been a while so someone can feel free to argue, but I remember seeing between 90-96% improvement from a single HDD to 2 HDD in Raid 0.
