Iconia w510 keyboard/dock

I have a question about where I can find/buy acer Iconia W5 dock in EU. Had found some sellers witch is selling them only in US. If there is a posibility to get someone...would be great Smiley Happy - One more thing... is there any way to get it in Norway?

    I would suggest visiting the Acer Store in your region and see if they have one available for sale.

    Hi,

     

    I was just told by one of the Acer customer support representatives here in Czech Republic that the keyboard dock is no longer being sold and I was recently in a Best Buy in Canada and there they are not being sold any longer.  What's worse, is this is my second Iconia W511 because the first one and a faulty motherboard and now this one is overheating and I think something is wrong with the battery.  I was hoping to try and use it with the dock to see if maybe that would change the behaviour, I honestly don't think these should have been sold without a dock, but instead was not even eager to be helped and this is not the first time.  

     

    My opinion of Acer right now is horrible and I have been trying to get rid of this product ever since.  I'm very frustrated with the level of support and the fact that I had high hopes this product was excellent, instead it's performance is sub-par; my colleague has an Asus Win8 combo that works if not better than mine but was also 30% less with the keyboard dock.

     

    I'm so frustrated that I'm not even going to expect that anyone answers this post.

    Hello again,

     

    Guess what?  My tablet just completely died last night.  I raised a ticket this morning and they simply sent me a Youtube link on how to access the BIOS.  I already tried that before contacting support but that didn't work and what's worse is they closed the ticket with no option on how to reopen it saying the issue is solved.  I'm really getting tired of dealing with Acer support here in the Czech Republic, they're not very good to deal with.

     

    Is there anyone I could speak to centrally that would help me?  I feel ripped off!!! :-(

    Hello lmartini,

     

    I understand that the tablet completely died. While I'm not saying your statement isn't factually correct, we hear many issues where a diagnosis like this is generalized. If you could share exactly what's going one with the unit, I believe you'll be more fortunate with getting support on the community.

     

    As far as your contact with the service center, that is obviously still an option. I don't know why they would close it. I can only hope that it was an mistake on their end. I would contact them again if that is the route you'd like the take.

     

    I'm sorry for the frustrations you're having with your table.
