Hi guys,

I want to be able to play some half decent games on my 5920g, I have tried a few but they lag quite a bit.

Mortal kombat 9 runs in slow motion, dead island is very jerky, batman arkham city runs but is jerky, burnout paradise is also pretty jerky.

I have installed the latest drivers for windows 8.1 including nvidia driver for 8600 GS

I am guessing that the lappy needs an upgrade and wondering what I can do to improve things?

Thanks

My Fiance has an AS5920G, fantastic little machines.  We put an SSD HDD into it to speed things up.  It moves faster than my i5-2500K desktop lolol.

I highly recommend slapping a solid state hdd into it as the first upgrade option.  Get one with 3 years warranty, should be pretty easy as it is quite a competitive market out there and this is to our advantage.  I have seen some SSD's with 5 year warranties !

    Have fun ! Smiley Happy

didn't think of an SSD to be honest and its the easiest upgrade lol

Thanks for that, I'll look into it Smiley Happy

Any idea on processor or GPU upgrade?

Your GPU might possibly soldered to the MB, so I doubt that you can upgrade it, if you want to upgrade the CPU, it's possible but you won't notice any significant difference uness you do a lot of CPU demanding work. Increasing the memory to maximum will show an improvement in performance.

Which processor you have at the moment?
