Acer Aspire V5-571

Ok, the subject was a heartwarming gift. Presently the computer, which has been in my possession for 16 months, is running as quiet as coulld be-it usually does. However there are times that there are sounds that do not seem normal. The local Office Max manager told me that all laptops make sounds in particular after a year of use. I asked him if he thought that if the computer was sent to Acer if they could elimiante the extra sound(s). He says the sound(s) are normaal, and Acer would just send the computer back to me. I have read about a motorboat sound or grindind. Whichever are these sounds fixable o that they are not heard? Thank you for any responses. Philip :smileyhappy:

update turned ACER on running 15 minutes there is a humm....

Most humms come from the internal fan whizzing around. Over time it gets worn and does make a more noticable sound. If you are upset by the noise you could always purchase a new fan and fit it.
