Kill A200 'System Update' Nags

1) Getting 'System Update' pop-up nags (Acer_A200_AV041..yada, yada, yada...PA_CUS1.Zip / 041.210.01)

2) Downloads/Install attempts consistently FLAIL** & then FAIL** -- presumably because pad has been Rooted.

3) Downloaded/Applied (& Verified) a workaround Security Patch

4) Now I would like to no longer be subjected to/nagged/aggravated by this pointless pop-up Notice

? Anyone have ANY insights/suggestions re accomplishing this?

Thanks

I apologize if you are still receiving this updates. These updates are automatic when you are connected to Wi-Fi and it sees that your system is not using the most recent ROM available.

You should be able to go into Settings -> About tablet -> System update, then remove the check mark from Automatically check for system updates. If this does not work, then the only other option, if you do not wish to continue to get these update messages is to turn off your wireless communication devices as these are provided "over-the-air".
