Login Screen Doesn't Show Up. Please Help!

I have an Acer Desktop with Windows 7 Home Premium on it. Whenever I turn on the computer, it starts normally, but the login screen doesn't show up. All I get is a black screen and my cursor; I can't do anything on it. I've tried turning it on in Safe Mode, but that doesn't work. I've also tried researching for anyone who may have the same problem, but I came up with nothing. I don't have a recovery disk, or at least I can't find it. I'm not sure what it looks like.

Can anyone help me with this? I would definitely appreciate it. If you can help, please walk me through the process, and I'll be sure to let you know whether anything works or if it stays the same.

Please and thank you in advance!

    Hi O_S777

Firstly, check there is no memory stick or memory card attached. If so, remove it & try to reboot.

If there is no memory devices attached, then the next thing to do is to is to remove every external device, like keyboards/mice/printers. Then try again to restart.

If you still wish to use the recovery process, you can press ALT & F10 as soon as you see the Acer logo. This will take you to the eRecovery program. Just keep in mind that you can lose all your data/programs/documents.

Once you're up & running, make the recovery disks from the Acer eRecovery program.

    Hope this helps!
