Acer Aspire E1-571 issue while playing a game

Hi,

I enjoy playing the game Maplestory when i got the time but i am experiencing some issues. I've just managed to solve the internet problem, it's really not a good default setting to have enabled. I had to disable some settings that saved power to solve that.

Now when i've finally managed to get the game running i have run into a new problem. When i use the up arrow or the left arrow while in the game, i walk either up or left. But the game also registers that as a shift key pressdown. Any idea how to solve this? The game doesn't even allow you to change/bind keys in any way remotely similar to that so it must be the laptop itself.
