Hi everybody.

My SSD Drive is at 100% in Task Manager. This slows down the system.

Takinf a look to the processes, I don't see anything anormal, at least for me.

I tried recover the system with DVD, but I have no external DVD and boot from USB Drive or USB HHD doesn't work.

Any suggestions?

Could you post a screenshot of Task Manager ? If you go to the process tab, click on "show processes from all users". Then click once or twice on "CPU" (until they are in decending order) you should see what is using the CPU.

or are you talking about Resource Monitor and the Disk tab ?

    Hi,

This is Windows 8 RT. I think the option "show processes from all users" doesn't exist.

As you can see, the disk is 100% with only 0,6 MB/S, the CPU is always around 10% and the RAM is almost empty.

Sorry, I really do not know anything about RT. .6MB/s sounds quite low for SSD, I would expect at least 20MB/s but that is based on the systems I know. My question would be what is it doing. Not much RAM is in use so it should not be swapping.

I'm guessing it's an error in usage reporting rather than actually using all the bandwidth of the device. If you click on that second tab (Performance in English I'm guessing Rendimiento translates to the same) you should be able to get more details as to actual disk usage. Show us a snapshot of that and perhaps we can help shine more light on the problem.

    Thank you both!

I solved this afternoon. I service named "Broadcom Wireless LAN Tray Service" was using all bandwidth, but It didn't appear on Processes tab. I found out disabling the services one by one. This tab is not mine, and I never worked with Windows 8 RT, so I don't understand why this process was hidden.

Billsey: in performance tab It was also 100% usage.
