Acer AM3670-UR14P not booting with NVIDIA GTX 760

Hello, I updaated my gpu to the Nvidia GTX 760 2GB and psu recently for my Acer . When I installed the PSU, everything started up perfectly. But when I installed the graphic card my computer got stuck on the Acer logo at the beggining of the boot, it stays there for about 1-2 minutes the goes all black with only a small line flashing, also it doesnt let me go into safe mode or enter the BIOS. When I swap to my old AMD Radeon 7570 everything runs smoothly.

I uninstalled every AMD driver my computer had, and updated the Bios too.When the computer starts with the nvidia 760 intalled, everything is turned on,including the gpu so is not a problem with the PSU (750W).

Everything I've read from people having this issue with other Acer computers seems to be a problem with de mobo and the BIOS not being compatible for some reason with the gtx 760. Its really frustrating to spend over $200 on a card that simply wont work on your computer even if its supposed to. Is there anyway to fix this other than buying a new MOBO and case??? Acer have really disappointed me with this issue.

Have you tried the NVIDIA GTX 760 in another computer to make sure it is not defective? From what you are telling me the hardware itself is working on the computer because it works with your AMD graphics card. Only other thing I can think to try and its a last resort is restoring the computer to factory defaults and then try installing your new NVIDIA card.

 

That is the only thing I can suggest as this is third party hardware but I am sure someone in the community may be able to help as they may have had a similar experience.
