My Acer Iconia B1-710 won't charge

I have this iconia b1-710 for about 3 months. This problems has been occured recently, no matter how long I charge this device, battery status keeps at 1-3%. Even when the battery status has been charged 15%, when I unplugged the power socket, suddenly the battery drop to 1%.

Before this problem occured, once I've forgot to charge it, so the battery fully empty. Is there any way I could fix it by myself ?, because acer service center in my city won't accept to fix it, just because I bought this tablet on different country.

Does your tablet charge through USB ? If it does have you tried charging it from a laptop or PC just in case it's your charger which is defective. You also have the option of a soft reset using a pin inserted in to the reset hole, failing this and as a last resort you could carry out a hard reset using the power and volume buttons, this would wipe the tablet and return it to factory settings.
