Aspire P3 Charging the keyboard cover

Hi,

I am travelling and have not got the small USB charge cable for my keyboard cover with me.

Will any Micro USB charge cable work? (I have a Samsung Cable that seems to fit with a bit of a squeeze) When I connect the battery lights seem to come on but the battery light remains "Blue" inidcating full charge... but the keyboard was totally flat... but it does appear to be charging (When I remove the USB cable the keyboard cover works for a short period of time indicatng that some charge was happeninng during the short time connected).

Can I connect the keyboard cover to any external USB charger? Or do I have to use the USB port on the PC?

This should be OK, but make sure the cable fits correctly - forcing a cable into a socket may damage it. It may also explain why the light is still blue!
