how to install second screen to my acer e1-410 for windows 8?

i put hdmi cable but it not work. windows say i need to reinstall the driver.

What driver are they asking you to reinstall? If you are using the factory load Windows 8 you should only have to use the following steps to choose how your external/second screen works:

 

Windows 8:

1. Press the Windows () key + C, or swipe in from the right edge of the screen to open your Charms, then select Devices on your computer.
2. Tap or click on Project.
3. Click or Tap Second Screen.
4. Select your option how you want your external display to work.

These options will only work when connected to an external screen/display. You may also need to detect and Identify your screens in the Screen Resolution window.

 

 

Windows 8.1:

 

1. Press the Windows () key + C, or swipe in from the right edge of the screen to open your Charms, then select Devices on your computer.
2. Tap or click on Project.
3. Select your option; PC screen only, Duplicate, Extend, Second screen only.

These options will only work when connected to an external screen/display. You may also need to detect and Identify your screens in the Screen Resolution window.

 

If you are still having problems, check the Drivers and Manuals dowload section on Acer's technical support site for the latest video drivers for your model. You may also have to get the appropriate driver for you monitor if necessary.
