Ok guys this is it:   Accidentally wiped EVERYTHING including Starter OS from my netbook using on OTC application. In my haste to get this paperweight back up and running, I purchased Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit and installed it. Works fine, but of course no drivers, etc.  Then the light bulb goes on and I consult the Acer site for drivers. Discover I could've bought a recovery disk with the original drivers, applications and OS for cheap. My question:  what do I do now?  Will the recovery CD overwrite the Premium CD OS or allow an option to install just what I need (everything minus the OS?)

Thanks in advance

    Hi polisdad

The recovery disk will format and wipe your hard drive, then reinstall Windows 7 Starter on it (including all drivers & apps).

The Windows 7 Starter drivers from the support website, should work OK on Windows 7 Home Premium. Starter is just a "restricted"/cut down version. It is basically the same OS!
