    Hi TK99!

I'm presuming you had Windows 7 on your laptop? If so, you can download an ISO image of Windows 7 Home Premium x64 here, then burn it to disk.

Next, go to Acer's support site, go to "Drivers & Manuals" and enter your model. You can then download all necessary drivers and applications, then burn them to another disk (or memory stick).

You're now ready to reinstall Windows. Boot from the Windows disk you made, and follow all on screen instructions. Use the product key on the base of your laptop, when prompted. When Windows has installed, use the driver disk (or memory stick) to install the drivers and applications. You will also need to activate Windows - which you can do online.

Finally, download Windows updates, and install your AV/Anti-malware software, then you're good to go!

Yes, this is the 100% genuine copy of Windows 7, provided by Microsoft themselves! You will need to use your product key on the base of your laptop.

If Acer are able to supply recovery disks, then that will be the best option!
