Hi,I am a new member and I need  HELP!  I bought a Notebook Acer (windows 8)  in Greece.Now I live in the USA.I have a problem i cant get help from acer support coz the system doesn't recognise my SNID number! yesterday after sending a mail to usa acer support i finally got someone on line,i did what they told me to ,and now i have my laptop resseting  16 hours still 3%! i am desperate and i don't know what to do!who can help me pls? thanks in advance irene

    If you are having problems with the factory reset it could be a corrputed partition. This means the recovery would not complete. The worse case is the HDD could be bad. I would recommend obtaining the recovery media from the country of orgin and try reinstalling the operating system that way.

     

    If you feel this is hardware related and have exhausted all other options, please contact support again for service.
