HI, I have an Aspire e380 that wont boot due to cleaning files as eRecovery fails at F10 (I think it was taken off or disabled) and the support page wont take my serial or snid# as what's my options..?

The drive partitions are intact as can I undelete (boot disk with undela?)

I can get to the restore screen (F10 screen) but when it comes up it said it failed recover and shows the winboot and /norun statement as not sure what to do here? that your supposed to type recover or something but wont happen as pretty sure eRecovery was removed but the hidden drive is in tact. wont goto safe mode etc. dos prompt or nothing as blue screens as haulted and boots to loop..

started by cleaning explorer files as was in some search history screen delteing tmp files etc as didnt think needed but realized it was a different way to view the drive as didnt think i was delteing 3000 temp files but after a good 40-50 it was aborted as was deleting the drive. (my best guess/explanation) as when booted it failed.,

I dont have any cd's nor were any made before this happened. I was trying to see if I can buy a replacement disk or get one (e380-ud421a) or get a win7 if not and see if it will run on this machine as not sure if can put more ram in or its going to work as what my options are? tryed to contact acer but calls for warrenty only as machine new in 2008 as getting no where. I can blow away and reinstall to new default would be great as no personal data to recover but what works to make it useful.

thanks for any help or advice is greatful thanks!

Did you try the below steps?

    Turn the system on.

Press and hold the ALT on the keyboard and start tapping F10.

Continue holding ALT and tapping F10 as the unit boots up.

A screen stating "Starting Acer Erecovery" should appear. Release ALT and stop tapping F10 at this point.

Select "restore system to factory default".

These steps will return the system to the original factory state including the factory installed drivers and apps.

Like I said above.. yes, and that will not work as well. all  last known or otherwise fail to load and work.

recovery error and offers safe mode as dont work and blue screens after.. tried all shadowing off and reset bios defaults...

I can hit WIN KEY AND f5 and get the windows boot screen but not sure how to access or copy etc at this point.
     the boot files
