eProjection Management Utility for Mac not working properly on OS X 10.9 Mavericks with U5200

I would like to mirror my Mac's display to the Acer U5200 Projector utilizing the projector's ethernet functionality. However, the Acer eProjection Management Utility for Mac is not working properly on OS X 10.9 Mavericks with my U5200 Projector. The projector will display a black screen with just the mouse cursor, instead of a mirror of my Mac’s display. Only the cursor is mirrored and when the cursor is moved, it leaves a trail of its previous position. Please see the attached image for more details. Why is this happening? Is there an updated version of the eProjection Management Utility for Mac?

What version of the eProjection Management Utility for Mac are you using? I see that we have v1.2 available for MAC OS V 10.5 and above on our support website. If you are not using this version, I would first suggest installing v1.2 and see if the problem persists.

Thanks for the reply. However, I'm already using v1.2. I guess it is time for an update to v1.3?

It has been over a week and I am becoming a little impatient. I haven't had any reply on my support ticket (reference: 1*****) even though a reply is primised within 72 hours and I haven't had any useful answer on this forum from an Acer employee. Could this issue get a little more attention please?

I apologize you have not gotten a reply on the ticket you submitted. I would suggest contacting technical support in your region. Visit Acer Service and Support and then click Contact Acer.

Well that's just great Acer. The Contact Center couldn't initially answer my question but after they askes the headoffice and the factory they were able to tell me today that OS X 10.9 is not supported and won't be supported. I just bought the beamer a few months ago and I'd like it to work with my MacBook (after all, the product is listed as Mac compatible). I want you to know I find your service to be lacking and I was hoping you could have been more helpful in solving this issue instead of just saying that it isn't and won't be supported. I found out myself that Awind is the company who did the 'projecting over the network' implementation and I've opened a ticket in their Google Group. I hope they are better at supporting their products than you are. Thanks for nothing.
