Laptop hinge cracking

I have an Acer Aspire M3-581TG series laptop, and the screen cover is starting to crack at the hinges and I suspect that the connections are loosening up, causing occasional flickers of the laptop screen. 

 

I bought the laptop in Melbourne, but now I'm in Singapore, and it seems that Acer Singapore doesn't have any sort of data sharing with Acer Australia, so they have asked me to check with Acer Australia instead. 

 

My laptop is still under warranty and the details are as below:

I hope to get it fixed in Singapore as it would be the most convenient for me.

My issue is that Acer Singapore is refusing to fix my laptop for free even though my unit is under warranty. I hope that the issue between Acer Singapore and Acer Australia (why is there no data sharing between these two units?!) can be resolved so that I can fix this in Singapore instead of having to fly all the way back to Australia to fix it (I'm working in Singapore at the moment).
