Two days ago I bought my new laptop Acer Aspire V3-772G-54206G75Makk and installed windows 8.1 pro 6.3.9600 Build 9600. I've downloaded all the latest drivers from acer page and everything works perfect except wireless. I'm talking about Qualcomm Atheros AR5BWB222 Wireless Network adapter, currently on 10.0.0.263 version (also downloaded from acer page). I read somewhere to update BIOS, so I downloaded from acers page 1.13 - 11.10.2013 version of BIOS. I couldn't find on google any thread regarding my problem, everyone writed about connection dropping and limited connectivity, while my situation is extremely poor download speed. The highest download speed I had is http://www.speedtest.net/result/3280267372.png 7 mbps and that was when I have re-installed my wireless adapter drivers (10.0.0.263) after updating BIOS. Usually does not exceed 1 mbps http://www.speedtest.net/result/3280459207.png. I had before in my room my old laptop and the download speed was always good (I haven't checked) now the same laptop is 5 meter closer to the router than my room and he has around 11 mbps download speed, while I'm in my room with a new laptio can't exceed 1 mbps.

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/compatibility/CompatCenter/ProductDetailsViewer?Name=Qualcomm%20Atheros%20AR5BWB222%20Wireless%20Network%20Adapter&vendor=Qualcomm%20Atheros&Type=Hardware&tempOsid=Windows+8.1 We can see here that most of the people rated this wireless not compatible with windows 8.1 and windows says it is. I don't know what to do anymore, i'm desperate and really need your help. Sry for my bad english, hope u can understand.
