M1935 Gigabit Network Connection Code 10

Hi there!

I am having trouble with my M1935 82579v Ethernet Gigabit Network Connection.
When I bought an Ethernet cable recently,
I installed it and it did not automatically connect to Ethernet. There was no adapter working.
In Device Manager, It said Error Code 10.
I uninstalled my drivers and re installed from the acer official site. Every time my PC boots up, the driver cannot start (code 10). I have to uninstall and reinstall for it to work.
I am not sure what to do.

    Hi superdaxter!

Ethernet code 10 error means that Windows can't start the device, usually due to an incorrect or corrupted driver. Have you recently made any changes or installed any new programs/drivers (even if it is for something else)? If so, uninstall them for now to see if it makes things work.

Use System Restore to revert back to a time when the device was working flawlessly. If this fails to make a difference, and, as you've said, updating the drivers doesn't work, then backup and reinstall Windows from your recovery partition/disks.

If after a clean install the problem remains, then this will indicate that your onboard Ethernet controller is about to fail. You will have to buy a PCI Ethernet card, and use that instead.

    Hey, umm

I have been using wireless connection since I got this PC and wanted to change as it was not stalbe enough to play games.

So I got an Ethernet Adapter. But it didnt start (Code 10)

I restored to the beggining of time about 1 month ago after I re installed windows 7 ( I do not delete restore points)

And still does not work. I read up on some intel forums and they said on this PDF:

    http://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/specification-updates/82579-gbe-phy-spec-update-vol-2-2.pdf

When system resumed from SX states, it would result in Code 10 Error which happens evertime i shut down my PC. So i downloaded their files to fix, But do not know how to run them Smiley Sad They say using CMD something xD

Any help would be appreciated Smiley Very Happy
