where can get restore disks Aspire 5532? Erecovery hung in a loop.

I have searched the web and this site but have not found an answer. And Acer does not want to help a bit if you are not under warranty. Tried to do a system restore using erecovery but it did not work. It is hung up in a loop that always brings you back to the erecovery screen. I tried safe mode but the same thing results. I read that you can order recovery disks but I see nowhere to locate or buy them. I would like to turn my laptop into something other than a doorstop. Please help!

    Hi Alan

     

    Where about are you? Most Acer regions allow you to buy recovery disks, however some, (like here in the UK) you actually need to call "Customer Care" for a set.

     

    Some regions allow a "Chat" service - if yours do, then ask a chat representative to help!

    i am in California. i look on-line for Acer recovery disks for my laptop but dont find them on the Acer site. i'll see if Acer has chat for non-waranty orphans.
