Rust (GAME) lagging on Acer Apsire v3 571G

I've had this laptop for just under a year now and i just got this new game i play with my mates called RUST the recommended specs are :

2GB Dedicated Graphics card - NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M

 

I should be able to run this game NO SWEAT but for some od reason it works fine but after like 5-10 mins it starts to lag

graphic lag. Im unsure why this is!! Ive done the whole thing where you make Rust run off the dedicated graphics card so it is running on my 2gb card but it still lags and im not even running the game on FULL ! Can anyone help me!!
