Dear all,
I have an Acer Aspire V3-772 laptop and i got a problem (obvious). When i connect a externel to my VGA port my laptop freezes. After i restart my laptop (still connected to the screen through VGA) i get the following BSOD:
video_tdr_failure igdkmd64.sys
This error as i read on internet has to do with intel videocard. On this laptop it has intel 4600 internal videocard. There is also a second videocard which is geforce gtx 760m.
I updated my system fully and everything works fine. Except the VGA port,
I tested my HDMI port which works properly, open the same screen/monitor connected through VGA it freezes/BSOD.
Has any one have any advice what could be the cause?
is it hardware or really software? I think software. Anyway i am going to try to install older version of the intel videocard driver. I'll post if that works.
I would like to have advice regarding this issue.
Thank you!
