Hi Folks

Live in remote area of BC, CA. Have 2 Acer aspire units about 2 + 3 years old. The newer one recognizes the HDMI input and I can use it with my TV, Unfortunately that is my wifes machine. My unit doesn not suport more than one monitor and does not see the HDMI cable even when it is plugged in. Says it does not support it.

I appear to have one empty slot for intalling some kind of a card. Can I install a different graphics card that will give me my HDMI access.

Alternately can I take the hard drive out of my wifes machine and swap machines around. These are the easily removed HDs
