A110 - 07g08s - Can't select Canada as Country

Hi There,

 

Just got my Acer A110 back from warranty service and it looks like they flashed it with the wrong ROM.

 

When I reset it I cannot select Canada or U.S. as my country, it seems to only have Asia pacific options.

 

Image version is: Acer_AV051_A110_RV00RC09_WW_GEN1

Build: ACER_AC051_A110_1.049.00_WW_GEN1

 

My assumption is that they flashed it with the wrong image version - any idea where I can download the North America ROM, and then how I would re-flash my tablet?

There is no location that you would be able to retrieve a different image for the system.

 

I can certainly confirm that the WW_GEN1 is not the proper image for a Canadian unit, which should show PA_CA.

 

Unfortunately, you will need to contact the Acer service center and have them re-image the system.
